Hello there,

In July 2016 I enrolled on the Stop Motion Animation and Puppetry bachelors at Staffordshire University.

My focus for the past few years as been on developing careers in miniature sculpting, acting and children's entertaining.  It is because of this that I do not have any projects at the present time which directly relate to stop motion other than my previous sculpting and miniature painting projects.

Over the coming months I will be detailing and discussing my University work, so stay tuned folks.

Rotoscope Gorilla

Completed for a class project. I am trying to implement my experience as an actor into my animated characters. I am channeling Laurence Olivier in his performance of Hamlet (1948).  It was an exciting exercise which I will develop upon in further assignments.

Odd Sock Animated Short

This is an animated short I made in my free time at Staffordshire University.

Whilst still only on my first term, I was itching to sink my teeth into an animated short with a three act structure and story.  Although it is a rough piece of animation, I consider it a success as it was a four minute film, scheduled and completed on a tight time frame.  I had a week of pre-production, 3 weeks animation and a month of working in post-production.  The film had over 40 separate shots and 10 setups. Please enjoy!

Stop Motion Film Update

I am currently working on a personal stop motion film project involving socks.  I spent many late nights up at the studio to complete the principal block of filming.
